BingX Referral Code 2026: 20% Fee Rebate + Bonus (Verified)
BingX referral code with a verified 20% trading fee rebate and new-user rewards: the real rebate maths, how to apply it at signup and the mistakes that void it.
A BingX referral code does one thing that genuinely matters: it knocks 20% off the trading fees you pay, on every fee-bearing spot and futures trade, for as long as the account exists. Everything else that gets bundled into "referral code" marketing (the 5,685+ USDT welcome gift, the deposit and trading cards, the vouchers) is a separate, conditional programme that you get with or without a code. This guide separates the two, walks through the actual maths of the rebate at realistic monthly volumes, and lists the handful of mistakes that quietly cancel the discount for a lot of people.
The code we track on PerpCompass is PENDING. It has to be entered during registration; there is no way to add it afterwards, and that single fact causes more lost rebates than anything else, so it's covered in detail below.
What the code actually gives you
Strip away the banner language and the referral code has two components with very different value.
1. A 20% rebate on trading fees. This is the part that's worth something. When you pay a fee on a spot or futures trade, BingX calculates 20% of that fee and credits it back to you, daily, in the currency the fee was charged in. Pay 1 USDT in fees on a perpetual trade, get 20% of 1 USDT back the next day. The rebate is attached to the referral relationship, not to a promotion, so it does not expire after 30 days or drop off after a volume threshold.
2. Access to the new-user welcome gift. The "5,685+ USDT welcome gift" headline refers to a ladder of tasks: a registration reward (30 USDT max, needs KYC), a deposit reward (500 USDT max, needs a deposit of at least 200 USDT and Advanced KYC), a trading reward (500 USDT max, tied to futures volume targets), and further deposit-and-trading tiers that scale with cumulative volume and make up most of the headline figure. Nearly all of it is paid as futures trial funds or fee vouchers rather than cash you can withdraw. Every new account gets these tasks; the code doesn't improve the tiers. We break the fine print down in the welcome bonus guide.
So the honest pitch is: the code is a permanent fee discount. Treat the bonus as a small side benefit, not the reason to sign up.
The real maths of a 20% rebate
A percentage rebate is only as valuable as the fees it applies to, so the first question is how much you actually pay. BingX's baseline (VIP 0) rates in 2026 are:
| Market | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 0.10% | 0.10% |
| USDT-M perpetual futures | 0.02% | 0.05% |
Two things skew the picture for futures traders. First, fees are charged on notional volume, not margin: opening a 10x position with 1,000 USDT of margin is a 10,000 USDT trade and is charged as such. Second, most retail traders take liquidity (market orders, stop-market orders), so the taker rate is the realistic one.
Here is what the fees and the rebate look like at different monthly volumes. The "rebate per 1 point" column is the amount you get back for each percentage point of discount; multiply it by 20 to get your monthly number.
| Monthly volume (USDT) | Spot fees paid (0.10%) | Spot rebate per 1 point | Futures fees paid (0.05% taker) | Futures rebate per 1 point |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | 5.00 | 0.05 | 2.50 | 0.025 |
| 20,000 | 20.00 | 0.20 | 10.00 | 0.10 |
| 50,000 | 50.00 | 0.50 | 25.00 | 0.25 |
| 100,000 | 100.00 | 1.00 | 50.00 | 0.50 |
| 500,000 | 500.00 | 5.00 | 250.00 | 2.50 |
So a futures trader doing 100,000 USDT of notional volume per month (that's 10 trades of 10,000 USDT each, or 100 trades of 1,000, round trips counting as two) pays roughly 50 USDT in taker fees and gets 0.50 × 20 USDT back. At 500,000 USDT of monthly volume, which is a fairly ordinary figure for someone trading perpetuals with leverage a few times a day, the rebate becomes 2.50 × 20 USDT every month, indefinitely.
A few caveats on that table:
- Round trips double the volume. Opening and closing a position are two fee events. A 10,000 USDT position that is opened and closed is 20,000 USDT of volume.
- Maker orders pay less, so the rebate is smaller in absolute terms. If you only ever post limit orders on futures at 0.02%, halve the futures column and then some.
- The rebate reduces your effective rate, not your VIP tier. Your fee tier still depends on 30-day volume and holdings. The rebate is applied on top. If you climb to VIP 1 (spot 0.04/0.06), the rebate is 20% of the lower fee, so the absolute amount drops while the percentage stays.
- Funding payments are not fees. Funding on perpetuals goes to the other side of the market, not to BingX, and it is not rebated.
If you want to plug in your own numbers, the fee calculator does the maker/taker split and the rebate for you. The full rate card, including the VIP ladder and withdrawal costs, is in the fees guide.
How to apply the code step by step
The process is short, but the order matters. The code is only accepted during account creation.
- Open the tracked registration link: create a BingX account with code PENDING. The link pre-fills the referral field, which removes the risk of a typo.
- Choose email or phone signup. Email is the safer choice if you ever change numbers or countries; you can add a phone later.
- Before you submit the form, expand the Referral code field (on the web form it sits below the password field, sometimes collapsed behind a small link labelled "Referral code (optional)"). Confirm it shows PENDING. If the field is empty, type it in manually.
- Complete the email or SMS verification code and set a strong, unique password.
- Once you're in, go to Profile → Referral (or Rewards Hub in the app). The referral relationship is visible there. If it shows "not bound", the code did not register and the account cannot be fixed; see the next section.
- Enable two-factor authentication before you deposit anything. The registration guide covers Google Authenticator setup and the differences between the web and app flows.
- Complete Basic KYC. It usually clears in minutes to a few hours and is needed for withdrawals of any real size and for most of the rewards tasks. Details in the KYC guide.
Rebates start accruing from your first fee-bearing trade. Check Assets → Transaction history and filter for "rebate" or "commission return" after your first full trading day to confirm it's working.
Mistakes that kill the discount
These are the ways people end up with a BingX account and no rebate. All of them are avoidable and none of them are reversible.
Registering first, adding the code later. This is the big one. BingX's system binds the referral relationship at account creation. There is no settings field to add it later, and support will tell you, politely, that they cannot backfill it. If you already have an account without a code, the only route is a fresh account with a different email and phone, and running two accounts is against the terms if you intend to use both. Do it right the first time.
Signing up through a VPN from a restricted country. BingX blocks the USA (including territories), the UK, Canada, Singapore, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China, plus a list of sanctioned countries. A VPN gets you past the signup page, but KYC checks your ID document's issuing country, and the account gets frozen at the point where you have money in it. The rebate is worthless on a frozen account.
Trading zero-fee pairs and expecting a rebate. BingX periodically runs zero-fee promotions on selected spot pairs. No fee means no rebate. The same applies to trades funded by trial vouchers from the rewards pool: those are excluded from rebate calculations.
Confusing the rebate with the welcome bonus. People see "5,685+ USDT welcome gift", deposit 50 USDT, and are surprised that almost nothing arrives. The deposit tiers require at least 200 USDT and Advanced KYC, each task has its own expiry window, and payouts are mostly trial funds. None of that has anything to do with the fee rebate, which is the part that actually works without conditions.
Using an expired or third-party "promo code" from a forum. Codes that promise 50% or 70% off do not exist for the invitee; the referral rebate is a fixed programme. If a code has been deactivated, the field will reject it or silently bind nothing. Verify the binding in Profile → Referral after signup rather than assuming.
Letting a browser extension strip the tracking. Aggressive ad blockers or privacy extensions occasionally strip the ?invite= parameter from the URL, leaving the referral field blank. Check the field before you hit submit; that's the whole point of step 3 above.
Is it worth it?
For an active trader, yes, without much debate. The rebate costs you nothing, it's permanent, and it compounds with every trade. Someone doing 500,000 USDT of monthly futures volume gets back 2.50 × 20 USDT per month, which over a year is a meaningful sum for zero effort.
For a buy-and-hold spot user who makes three trades a year, the rebate is technically real but the absolute amount is pennies. It's still the right thing to do at signup, because there's no downside and you might trade more later, but don't let it drive your choice of exchange. Whether BingX suits you at all is a different question, and one we try to answer honestly in the BingX review, including the things it does badly.
There are also cheaper places to trade in nominal terms. MEXC, for example, runs promotional 0% maker fees on futures. A 20% rebate on a 0.05% taker fee still leaves you at a higher effective rate than 0.02%. What BingX offers instead is the copy-trading ecosystem, a large spot list and a deposit/withdrawal experience that has been reliable in our testing. If those matter to you, the rebate makes the fee gap smaller; if they don't, the rebate alone won't close it.
How the other side of the referral works
For transparency: whoever's code you use earns a commission from BingX on the fees you pay. The base rate is 10% of the invitee's fees, scaling to 45% for high-volume referrers, and there is a separate, application-only Affiliate Programme that goes up to 50%. This comes out of BingX's margin, not out of your rebate, and it doesn't change your fee rate in either direction. The referrer sees aggregate commission numbers, never your positions or personal data.
PerpCompass is funded this way. That's why we're upfront that the code is a fee rebate, not a jackpot, and why the welcome bonus guide spends more time on the conditions than on the headline number.
Restrictions and who this is not for
BingX does not accept users from the USA and its territories, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, the Netherlands, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, mainland China, or sanctioned jurisdictions including Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Afghanistan, Myanmar and several others. If you're resident in one of those, no referral code changes that, and attempting to work around the block puts your funds at risk.
The rebate also won't help if you're mainly looking for a regulated European venue. BingX has an AUSTRAC registration in Australia and a Lithuanian VASP registration through BINGX EU UAB, but it is not MiCA-authorised as of mid-2026. We go into what that means in Is BingX safe?.
Finally, none of this is a reason to trade more than you otherwise would. A rebate on fees you didn't need to pay is still a loss. Use the discount, keep position sizes sensible, and check the liquidation calculator before adding leverage.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add a BingX referral code after signing up?
No. BingX only accepts a code in the Referral code field during registration (or pre-filled from an invite link). Support will not attach a code to an existing account, so if you missed it the only fix is a new account with a different email.
How is the 20% BingX fee rebate paid?
BingX credits the rebate daily, in the same currency the fee was charged in. It applies to every fee-bearing spot and futures trade and is tied to the referral relationship, so it does not expire.
Does the referral code work on zero-fee trades or bonus-funded trades?
No. A rebate is a percentage of the fee you actually paid. Zero-fee promotional pairs and trades funded by trial vouchers produce no fee, so there is nothing to rebate.
Is the BingX referral code the same as the welcome bonus?
They are separate. The code gives a permanent fee rebate. The welcome gift (5,685+ USDT in tiered rewards) is a set of conditional tasks that mostly pay out in futures trial funds and vouchers, and every account gets access to it whether or not a code was used.
Can I use a BingX referral code from the USA or UK?
No. BingX does not serve the USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Macau or mainland China. Registering through a VPN from a blocked country risks a frozen account at KYC, with or without a code.
Does the person who referred me see my trades?
No. The referrer sees aggregate commission figures, not your positions, balances or personal data. Your side of the relationship is only the fee rebate.
